The Measure J Traffic Congestion Relief Agency, dba TRAFFIX, is a public agency responsible for managing a traffic congestion relief program funded by Measure J, the ½ cent sales tax extended by the Contra Costa voters in 2004.

The sole purpose of TRAFFIX is to reduce traffic congestion caused by parents driving their children to and from school through some of the San Ramon Valley's most congested intersections. To accomplish this, transit service will be available to transport students, who live near or must travel through the most congested intersections, to and from school beginning in August 2009.

TRAFFIX is operated jointly by the Town of Danville, City of San Ramon, Contra Costa County, and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, with funding from Contra Costa County Measure J.

The TRAFFIX Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of the month at 4 pm at the Danville Town Offices at 510 La Gonda Way.
