For any questions about the TRAFFIX program, please read the FAQ first. If you do not find your answer there, you may contact the TRAFFIX Program Manager or the First Student Dispatcher.
TRAFFIX Program Manager - (925) 866-TRFX (8739) For general questions about the program, routes, passes or service, call Program Manager Aram Boyd between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on school days.
First Student Dispatcher - (925) 926-0375 For Lost and Found, a late bus, or any issue relating directly to a bus or driver, call the First Student dispatch office between 5:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on school days.
Play Date Policy: Students who are not registered TRAFFIX riders may never ride the bus. But TRAFFIX pass holders may ride on a different route or get off at a different stop if they have requested permission in writing from our bus operator, First Student, at least two days in advance.
No play date travel will be allowed without proper advanced permission from First Student. It is a very important student safety issue for us. We must know where all our riders are and be able to document students riding beyond their established routes or stops. We also do not want to overbook the seats on any bus.
To request a play date, send an email to: tiffany.johnson@firstgroup.com with your child’s name and the route and stop you are asking to use. You should receive an email response within 24 hours. If your request is approved, you must print out your email and have your child show it to the new driver when boarding.
Two days notice means two school days. You must notify First Student on Monday for a play date on Wednesday (or Tue for Thu, Wed for Fri, Thu for Mon, Fri for Tue). For questions on this policy, contract the Program Manager.
