Meet First Student General Manager Henry Cooper
Managing every aspect of school bus operations is a tough job. Fortunately, Henry Cooper is on board as General Manager of First Student's Concord facility, where the TRAFFIX bus fleet is housed and managed. Henry has over thirty years of logistical experience. Before working in transportation, Henry was a senior project manager in financial services, working for PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. and Fannie Mae. Prior to joining First Student, Henry was the Transportation Director for Michael’s Transportation. He also worked for Vallejo City Unified School District and MV Transportation.

Henry excels at resolving the daily challenges of transportation, making sure operators and passengers reach their destinations safely.

In his spare time, Henry enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, SCUBA diving and motor sports.
Communications from TRAFFIX
We truly understand that timely and accurate communications from TRAFFIX are important to you. That is one of the primary reasons why are upgrading our website and communication systems to better serve our TRAFFIX families. With our current system, it can be difficult to communicate with large groups or multiple groups of parents in a short time-frame. While we work to complete development of our new communication systems, if you have questions about bus operations (late buses, etc.), please refer to the TRAFFIX website home page (www.ridetraffix.com) where we will log daily (AM & PM) bus service alerts.

TRAFFIX Play Date Policy
To request a play date, please send an email to  [email protected] . Please include your child’s name and the route and stop you are asking to use. You should receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. If your request is approved, please print your email and have your child show it to the driver when boarding. If you have questions, First Student Dispatch may be reached at (925) 363-7327.

Students who are not registered TRAFFIX riders cannot ride the bus . TRAFFIX pass holders may ride on a different route or get off at a different stop if they have requested permission in writing from First Student at least two days in advance. Two days' notice is defined as two school days. For example, you must notify First Student on Monday for a play date on Wednesday (Tuesday for Thursday, Wednesday for Friday, Thursday for Monday, Friday for Tuesday). For questions on this policy, contact the TRAFFIX Administrative Coordinator at [email protected] or 925-866-8739.

No play date travel will be allowed without proper advanced permission from First Student. This is a very important student safety issue. We must know where all our riders are and be able to document students riding beyond their established routes or stops. We also do not want to overbook the seats on any bus.
