We’re here to reduce traffic congestion and make your student’s travel to and from school safe, simple and smart.

Play Date Policy
To request a play date, send an email to Rosalva.Navarro@firstgroup.com with a cc to Patricia.Shannon@firstgroup.com. Please include your child’s name, the bus route he/she normally rides, the name of the child with whom he/she has a play date and their bus route on which your child would be a guest rider. If you have questions, First Student Dispatch can be reached at 925-363-7327.
Students who are not registered TRAFFIX riders cannot ride the bus.
The following routes are expected to sell out, so get online early: CA-17, CK-13, LC-9, MV-10, MV-18, MV-19, MV-19A, MV-20, MV-25, PV-11, PV-12, PV-13 and SR-21.
Waiting Lists for Sold-Out Routes
If a route sells out, you will be given an opportunity to add your name to the Wait List. Wait Lists from the former school year DO NOT carry over to the new school year. If you are added to the Wait List and a seat opens up, you will automatically be given the opportunity to purchase a bus pass. If you do not purchase the pass within 48 hours of notification, the seat will be offered to the next person on the Wait List.
TRAFFIX Office Hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on school days. During bus run times from 7:00 – 9:00 AM and 2:00 – 4:00 PM on school days, it’s best to email email@example.com with non-urgent customer service inquiries. The First Student Dispatch Office is open from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM on school days and can be reached at (925) 363-7327.
Bus Operations / Lost Items
Call the First Student Dispatch Office at (925) 363-7327 between 5:30 AM and 5:00 PM on school days. You may also call to check on a late bus or other operational issue involving First Student buses.
